REFUNDS / RETURNS

There are no refunds/returns on purchases after the merchandise has been delivered to the customer’s residence, picked up from the warehouse, or taken from a store location with the exclusion of metal frames, mattress protectors, sheets and pillows which may be returned to the store for a full refund if the product has not been opened.  If any of these items have been opened, there are no refunds/returns.  All unopened items needing to be refunded/returned must be brought back to a store location at customer’s expense.  There are no refunds/cancellations on special order items such as adjustable bases, furniture, organic products, and/or items listed as special order/custom/all sales final on receipt.  Changes made by the customer to their order after the time of sale are subject to full retail pricing on all other items.  If an order paid with cash is canceled/returned at a date later than the purchase date, a refund check will be mailed out to the customer.  Deposits put on products will be forfeited 12 months after purchase.

 

90-DAY COMFORT EXCHANGE

If after receiving a mattress, the customer is not completely satisfied with the comfort after a 14 day trial period, we will gladly exchange only the mattress for another mattress of equal or greater value.  There are no exchanges on box springs, foundations, bunkie boards/pallets, adjustable bases, organic products and/or items listed as special order/all sales final on receipt.  Closeouts, clearance, and floor models do not apply.  If the customer chooses a mattress of greater value, they will be responsible for paying the difference in price.  Should the customer choose a mattress of lesser value, the difference will be issued in the form of store credit.  Store credits will be forfeited 12 months after the date of the exchange.  Mattress Nation will not refund the difference in value.  There are NO restocking fees and NO re-delivery feesMattress Nation must do all exchanges.  Soiled, stained, damaged, and/or removed law labels from the mattresses do not qualify for comfort exchanges and if we attempt the exchange delivery under such conditions, a $59.99 delivery fee will be accessed.  A one-time only exchange will be allowed.  Comfort exchanges are not subject to a low price guarantee.

 

MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

Customers are required to follow care instructions as shown on their Warranty Card at all times.  The manufacturer’s warranty will be voided if the mattress is stained, soiled, damaged, or the law label has been removed unless specified otherwise by the manufacturer.  If such conditions are discovered upon delivery, a $59.99 delivery fee will be accessed. We recommend the purchase of a mattress protector in order to protect the customer’s mattress against stains and/or spills that may void the Manufacturer Warranty.  This is a manufacturer’s warranty and not a store warranty.  All warranty claims by customers must be submitted to the manufacturer via Mattress Nation.  Every manufacturer requires pictures to be taken of the claimed defective product.  If you need assistance taking pictures, we will come to your home for a $59.99 fee within 30 miles.  This fee is to take pictures of the claimed defect and does not guarantee a manufacturer replacement.   Should the manufacturer grant a replacement, we will gladly help exchange the defective product for a $59.99 fee within 30 miles or the customer can exchange the product at our warehouse for free.  We will only replace a defective item two times for our customers before requiring a switch to a different product.  

 

MATTRESS/FOUNDATION SIZES

There are different types of mattress/foundation sizes so the mattress/foundation may be slightly off the standard dimensions:   The actual mattress/foundation may be 1” to 2” off the standard size:


There are different types of foundations/boxsprings so the foundation/boxspring may be slightly off the standard height.   The actual foundation/boxspring  may be 3/4” off the standard size: 

Customers are required to confirm the size/height of products ordered prior to delivery.  Should a size or height exchange need to occur due to customer error, a 10% restocking fee AND a re-delivery fee of $39.99 for local deliveries (within 30 miles) will apply.  Re-deliveries more than 30 miles away are subject to a re-delivery fee greater than $39.99.  Soiled, stained, damaged and/or dirty products do not qualify for any type of exchange.

 

CUSTOMER PICK-UP

We recommend using our professional delivery service.  However, we understand it can be more convenient or economical to pick up products at our store or warehouse.  We do not recommend the use of any vehicle other than a covered truck for transporting merchandise.  Consumer is solely responsible for any personal injuries, damage to personal properties, vehicle, items purchased or subsequent damage as a result of the loading, securing & transporting of the purchased product(s).

 

DELIVERY DATE

The Delivery/Pickup Date is merely an estimate that we will make every effort to achieve.  Once purchased item(s) are received at our warehouse, we will contact the customer to schedule a specific date and time frame for the delivery or pick-up of their order.  We cannot be held responsible for any delays, back-orders, and/or discontinued items by the manufacturer of purchased items.

 

DELIVERY & SET-UP

Customers are responsible for determining whether or not merchandise will fit through the doorways, stairwells, corridors, and elevators.  When a customer hires our Delivery & Set-Up services he/she understands and agrees that our delivery team will not move, set-up, put-away, discard, assemble and/or disassemble any home furniture, accessories, and/or other objects located in/or around the customer's home.  It is the customer’s responsibility to remove any items to clear the pathway into and out of the bedroom.  Some delivery situations may require customers to sign a Release of Liability waiver.  Delivery and set-up is for products purchased under this Sales Order only.  All balances must be paid for at least the Day Before the date of delivery.  If the customer misses his/her delivery window, he/she is subject to a re-delivery charge.


ONLINE MIS-PRICED ITEMS

At any given time, despite our best efforts, a small number of the thousands of items on our site may be mis-priced.  Unfortunately, in some cases we are unable to honor the incorrect price, and your order is subject to cancellation.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may result in.

 

MATTRESS RECYCLING COUNCIL (MRC)

California’s Used Mattress Recovery and Recycling Act requires mattress manufacturer to create a statewide recycling program for mattresses discard in the state.  The Program will be funded through an $10.50 recycling fee collected from consumers when a mattress or box spring is sold beginning Jan. 1, 2018.
